Playing Through December 23rd...

Winter Acting Classes 2018!

Miners Alley is offering our fourth year of Beginning Acting Classes in 2018.

Each class will have a final performance to showcase what they’ve learned.

Since the classes are designed to teach the basic skills needed to perform,

we want to give the kids a chance to show off what they’ve learned!

These lessons will build confidence, teamwork and listening skills,

and form a firm foundation for working on the stage.

Want to rock your next big audition? Curious about how to land your next awesome part?  If you think auditions can be a little nerve-wracking, JOIN US to gain confidence and feel prepared for your next big break!  In our six-week winter course, we will be focusing on tools to make your audition GREAT and a whole lot of FUN.  Together, we will select appropriate monologues (and songs, for any singers) and workshop each piece to make them dynamic, entertaining, and YOURS.  We will also dive into callbacks- how to "cold-read" from scripts, why directors like "big choices", and what it takes to bring the page to life. At the end of the course, we will present a showcase of monologues and songs (optional) to an audience of family and friends.

Taught by professional actor/teacher Alaina Beth Reel.

Suggested age range 10-15.

Enrollment Fee: $150
