Miners Alley is offering our fourth year of Beginning Acting Classes in 2018.

Each class will have a final performance to showcase what they’ve learned.

Since the classes are designed to teach the basic skills needed to perform,

we want to give the kids a chance to show off what they’ve learned!

These lessons will build confidence, teamwork and listening skills,

and form a firm foundation for working on the stage.

Class Description:  Advanced Acting Techniques!

Please join us for our Thursday afternoon class, taught by Alaina Beth Reel.  This session, we will be focusing on advanced acting techniques, and what it takes to put a full production together for an audience.  We will study script dissection, how to make character choices based in text, usage of props and costumes for a show, and what it means to be a professional actor.  Over the course of six weeks, we will rehearse a short play that we will present at our final showcase.  Creativity, imagination, and dedication will be at the heart of this course.  Any young actor will benefit and learn from this program, and I hope you will join us!
